Of Our Website Design Process
Are you almost ready to sign up with one of our website design packages, but have a few last minute questions or concerns? Perhaps this is the page you need right about now. It has some FAQs and general information about the process we are about to share.
The Process
The first thing you need to do is decide on your website niche. What is your website going to be about? Your local business, lap dogs, stock trading, Italian recipes? Once you know your website topic you'll need to decide what services you need from us. Are you looking for a simple online presence? Or are you after a ranking site that pulls targeted, ready-to-buy visitors from the search engines? Perhaps you’re somewhere in between.
Our company is built so that we can handle many different levels of projects. We can handle small projects and large projects. If for some reason we cannot handle your particular website... we'll be honest and tell you! We don't want to drown our staff in projects that are beyond our scope of work and you don't want to hire someone that is not 100% interested in your website.
We specialize in producing content-rich, keyword focused, lead-generating websites. If that's what you're after then we'll be great working together!
What Happens After I Purchase My Preferred Plan?
Once you select your preferred plan, you'll be asked to fill in a basic form and agree to a website development contract. The contract is pretty standard and outlines what we will provide to you. Once you fill in the form and agree to the contract, you'll be taken to a screen where you can select your payment plan or pay in full. Your payments are processed through a secure third party processor. After your payment you will be taken to a screen that provides some questions for you to think about. We will call you within 48 business hours after you sign up.
What Happens When You Call Me?
We talk about your ideas and your website design goals. We'll ask you the website questions you saw after you made your payment. Knowing your answers will help us determine what you are and are not looking for in a website. This conversation will be fairly brief. It usually takes about 15-20 minutes.
After We Chat... What Happens?
From there LynnVanDyke.com will start developing your website layout and template as well as your website header. If your plan calls for keyword research, then we start on that as well.
When we have the correct amount of keywords we will ask you to approve them. This gives you the opportunity to gauge our progress. Once you say, "Yes! These are the keywords I want to draw traffic for in Google!" the writers will begin their research or we will teach you how to create the content. It depends on which plan you have selected.
The writers are professional writers and researchers. They can write on any topic imaginable. We've created thousands of pages of content for past clients. The writers will create general content based on your keywords. The goal is to get targeted visitors from the search engines. Once they are on your site... you can dazzle them with free consults, opt-ins or affiliate programs. The choice is yours!
If you prefer to have creative direction over the content we urge you to consider a plan that provides that to you. We want you to have choices and feel as though you’ve made the best decision for you and your business!
As the process goes on you'll see that we handle almost everything. We'll email or call you when we have a question, but for the most part you will be sitting back and relaxing.
